It’s a whole new year, I can’t believe it! It’s been a really great year for my family and me. We moved from Maui back to the mainland and are happily settled in a good ol’ Red State. I’ve been growing a lot in the Word and spending much more focused time in prayer, which has been a huge blessing. I haven’t had as much time to blog since I’ve been working full-time, but I have an endless list of blog post ideas in my head. One topic I’d been meaning to write about was a prayer challenge focused on praying for my husband, which was a blessing.
My sister Jessa over at Women on the Fringe suggested starting off the New Year with a prayer challenge of our own, to encourage you all to pray for your husbands every day for all of January, or whenever you’d like to begin! I’m posting this THREE days late (I am a work-at-home, homeschooling mom of two small children, what can I say…) so we’ve already gotten started with our prompts, which we are updating daily and posting about on our Facebook page.
So please join in! Daily prayer for your husband can be such a blessing, and I found when I began mine last month, I felt so humbled and grateful for my husband. I ended up thanking God and praying for myself almost more than I did pray for hubby’s needs! It is so edifying to pray for one another, especially the person who matters most.
God bless you all and I pray that you have an edifying year full of growth in the Lord. Please continue to keep my ministry in prayer as I endeavor to grow this blog and keep it going!
